ABSTRACT: Conclusions: These data demonstrate that a single chiropractic intervention can bring about a significant reduction in blood pressure in a hypertensive group of subjects. Not only was the reduction in systolic blood pressure statistically significant, more important was the clinical significance of this effect. Additional studies are in progress to determine the long term effects of this type of chiropractic intervention on the blood pressures of hypertensive subjects.
