ABSTRACT: The chiropractic profession has recently demonstrated a growing to the care and management of the pediatric patient in postgraduate courses and seminars. This paper outlines a program that will provide the chiropractic student with: 1) practical experience in the care and management of children within the class setting, 2) advanced training in chiropractic-pediatric care within the clinic setting, and 3) a technique used to evaluate the successful performance of the extern or graduate doctor. It is the goal of this program to provide a model of instruction for students in all chiropractic colleges, which will enhance the possibility that future doctors of chiropractic are better prepared to treat all pediatric patients.
